Oakland Ballet: Double Happiness

Double Happiness is a Dancing Moons Festival 2026 production that will feature 2 world premieres, Double Happiness by Phil Chan & Child’s Play by Wei Wang, as well as revivals of Amber Waves by Phil Chan & Opposites Distract by Elaine Kudo.

Launched in 2022, Dancing Moons Festival is the country’s first ballet program that features Asian American Pacific Islander choreographers. The program aims to eradicate Orientalism on the stage and bring contemporary ballet to life.

• There will be a 15 minute intermission
